Gainsborough Wishes. What do you wish for in your town?

This website is here to highlight the wonderful community groups in Gainsborough. There are lots of people in our town who give up their time to help others. If you are an individual seeking information or support take a look here, there are many groups that may be able to help you. If you are a community group showcase yourselves here for others to see – someone out there might be able to help or join you! If you are fundraising and holding an event we can post it here. There is no charge for this - we are just here to help. There are contact details of all the groups on this website on their own pages or the regular meetings lists so please contact them directly for any updates.

May 2021. Along with the rest of our country Gainsborough is gradually coming out to play! Community groups are making firm plans for the coming months with meetings and events planned. We know that many have been working hard in the background during lockdown and are eager to get going again. Here's wishing everybody safe and happy times ahead.

Please support Be The Difference in Gainsborough who need more money to fund vital counselling services.

"Over the last 18 months we have managed to help over 100 people and have raised and spent over £25,000 on counselling fees. Every penny raised has been used to provide support for the people who need it the most and, particularly during the last 12 months, there have been very many cases of attempted suicide that we have been able to reach quickly and effectively."
